WORLD OF LANGUAGE COMPANY PARTICIPATING IN BOOKFARE
According to Article 5.1.17 of the Law of Mongolia on Public Holidays, which testifies that “National Literary Culture and Book Day should be on Saturday and Sunday of the third week of May and September”, we have the official Book Day. The 34th “BOOK FESTIVAL” or “UBIBF” (Ulaanbaatar international bookfair) was organized in Sukhbaatar Square, the central square of Ulaanbaatar, on September 15-17, 2023. All events of the Book Festival with the motto “Let’s Read More” were held simultaneously on two stages, which are called “Book opening” and “Green Lawn”. More than 200 publishers and 200 authors from more than 10 countries participated in the Book Festival. The visitors came to the festival several times and number of visits are more than 236 thousand.
“WORLD OF LANGUAGE” company participated in this event, as an official distributor of “CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS”, “OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS”, “EXPRESS PUBLISHING”, “HODDER EDUCATION”, “HARPERCOLLINS”, “MACMILLAN”, “MUZZY BBC”, “ELT Partnership”, “PENGUIN RANDOM HOUSE, “ELI”, “GLOBAL ELT”, “HAMILTON HOUSE”, “CENGAGE”, introducing the learning resoursces from the publishing compnies.
We wish the Book Festival (UBIBF) will become as large as the international book fairs in London, Frankfurt, and Moscow in the future.
